CONTROL and Incognito join forces on August 3rd to present a range of music from Matthew Dear and Kenny Glasgow with local support from Ram S b2b Mir Z, and PABLoKEY b2b ARVO.
The multitalented Matthew Dear will be hitting the Avalon stage, a man who has dipped his toes into many music genres and styles from indie-pop to funk house to techno. With three other aliases, including Audion, he has played many stages and straddled many musical worlds. His electronic sounds are dark and inviting, creating a unique atmospheric mood.
Also headlining is Kenny Glasgow, who has been a pioneer on the scene since the nineties, and was once a part of the house duo Art Department. Now a solo artist for many years, he has toured the world with his gritty house and techno, and is bringing that to AVALON Hollywood. Glasgow has had a loyal following from his start in Toronto because of his range of titles including producer, vocalist, and DJ.
